Without the need to re-clear security, passengers can spend more time relaxing in the lounge before their flight. The 2 furthest gates are just a 15-minute walk from each other, but it’s still advisable to leave plenty of time to walk from a lounge to your departure gate. Unlike many high school or college courses, where you may have been in class studying around six hours a day, the Army trains for about hours a day, 6 days a week. What services do USO airport lounges provide?
Active duty, reserve, and guard service members and their families are permitted in the lounge. Whether traveling to a deployed location or coming home, military ID-card holders are always welcome. USO North Carolina at Charlotte Douglas International Airport is located on the upper level of the Atrium. Each year, the USO Charlotte Airport Center functions as a lounge to more than 125,000 services members and their families. Complimentary refreshments are available to all guests, including light snacks, juices, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
Members of Priority Pass are entitled to a complementary hour of access plus a drink and a snack. Guests can also pre-reserve the gaming experience of their choice online before arriving at the airport. The lounge offers a range of facilities to ensure your time there is comfortable and enjoyable.
For business travellers, their lounges also offer conference rooms, so you can hold meetings or make calls in a private and professional setting. Please note that conference rooms may not be available due to local guidelines. Since opening its doors in September 2006, the center has provided a “home away from home” for all active duty, reserves, National Guard, retired military personnel and their families as they travel through CLT.
